Cristal Group (Pty) Ltd – Comprehensive Terms of Service for Online Store (Revised 2025)
This document sets out the terms and conditions (“Terms of Service” or “Terms”) under which Cristal Group (Pty) Ltd (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides access to its e-commerce website www.cristalgroup.co.za and associated services (the “Site”).
By accessing or using the Site, including placing orders, browsing products, or interacting with any features, you (“the user,” “customer,” or “you”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Returns Policy, and any additional terms referenced herein or linked on the Site.

- Minor variations in color, dimensions, or specifications may occur due to supplier updates or screen display differences.
Availability
- Products are offered subject to stock levels. Out-of-stock items may be back-ordered or substituted only with customer consent.
- We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
Pricing
- Prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without notice.
- Prices exclude delivery charges unless otherwise specified.
Section 4 – Orders and Acceptance
Order Process
- Orders are confirmed once full payment is received unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Automated order confirmation emails serve as acknowledgment but not final acceptance.
Order Limits
- We may limit or refuse orders suspected of fraud, bulk resale, or misuse, including multiple orders using the same billing/shipping details.
Order Cancellation by Cristal Group
Orders may be canceled if:
a) Items are unavailable;
b) Fraudulent activity is suspected;
c) Errors in pricing or product information occur.
Section 5 – Payment Terms
Accepted Payment Methods
- Payments are accepted via secure gateways supporting credit/debit cards, EFT, and other methods specified at checkout.
Security
- All payment data is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS security protocols. We do not store card details on our servers.
Invoicing and Proof of Payment
- Invoices will be issued electronically. Proof of payment must be sent to sales@cristalgroup.co.za for EFT orders.
Section 6 – Shipping, Delivery, and Collection
Delivery Timelines
- Standard delivery: 1–7 business days within South Africa unless otherwise stated.
- International and expedited shipping: available on request via our sales office.
Delivery Conditions
- Delivery dates are estimates; delays due to courier or external factors are beyond our control.
- Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery to the provided address or collection point.
Collections
- Only confirmed orders may be collected from designated locations. Walk-ins for unconfirmed orders are not permitted.
Section 7 – Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Return Conditions
- Returns are accepted within 7 days for defective or incorrect products, subject to our Refund & Returns Policy.
- Items must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Refund Timelines
- Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Section 8 – Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, images, and content on the Site are owned by Cristal Group (Pty) Ltd or licensed third parties.
Unauthorized reproduction, copying, or redistribution is strictly prohibited.
Section 9 – Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data is collected, processed, and stored in compliance with South Africa’s POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act) and other applicable laws.

Section 10 – Third-Party Tools and Links
The Site may integrate third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, courier tracking).
We are not liable for content, policies, or errors of third-party sites or tools.
Section 11 – Limitation of Liability
Cristal Group (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, data, or revenue, except as required by law.
Liability for defective products is limited to replacement, repair, or refund as per the Consumer Protection Act (South Africa).
Section 12 – Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cristal Group (Pty) Ltd, its directors, employees, and affiliates against claims arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
Section 13 – Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation in good faith; failing which, disputes may be referred to arbitration in Johannesburg under South African arbitration rules.
Section 14 – Termination
We may terminate or suspend access without notice if Terms are breached.
Termination does not affect accrued obligations, including outstanding payments.
Section 15 – Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Returns Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cristal Group (Pty) Ltd.
